A maximum of two pets are permitted per camping pitch or rental accommodation. Dogs must always be kept on a leash (including in the woods). Dogs must be walked outside the campsite for their toilet breaks.
Pets are not permitted in some buildings (including the sanitary buildings). It is not permitted to leave pets unattended. The owner of the animal is liable for any damage or contamination. The owner must also ensure that the presence of his pet does not disturb other campers.
You can use our Wi-Fi free of charge at various central locations on the campsite, such as in the bar, on the terrace and around the swimming pool. This allows you to check your messages, share photos or look something up while continuing to enjoy the peace and quiet of nature in the Ardennes.
Ardennes Camping Bertrix has adapted sanitary facilities for disabled guests, such as a wheelchair-accessible shower and toilet. However, it is important to note that the campsite is terraced, which means that the terrain is hilly and therefore less accessible for disabled guests and wheelchair users. Please take this into account when planning your stay.
Certainly. Our campsite is particularly popular with families. With a play forest, playgrounds, swimming pool and entertainment during holiday periods, there is always something to do for children of different ages.
Certainly. There is also plenty to do at Ardennes Camping Bertrix for older children, teenagers and adults. Think outdoor activities in the Ardennes, sports and games, live music, bingo, a ghost tour and an obstacle course. There is something for everyone.
Please note that our campsite is particularly popular with families with younger children. As a result, the number of children of the same age may be slightly smaller than at campsites that specifically cater to teenagers.
The centre of Bertrix is a short distance from the campsite. It is approximately 2.5 kilometres on foot, or about 5 minutes by car. In the village, you will find a supermarket, bakery, restaurants, and an ATM, among other amenities.
The area around Bertrix in the Belgian Ardennes is ideal for hiking, mountain biking, kayaking and trail running. In addition, places such as Bouillon and Bastogne are just a short drive away.
Yes, in the centre of Bertrix, you can visit the Carrefour Market for your daily shopping. It is located approximately 2.5 kilometres from the campsite and can be reached by car in about 5 minutes. There is also a LIDL, Delhaize and ALDI about a 10-minute drive away. This means you always have several supermarkets nearby to choose from.
In addition, we have a camping shop on site where you can buy basic groceries and fresh bread rolls during the season. This means you will always have everything you need within easy reach during your stay in the Ardennes.
Yes, our campsite is also ideal for a short stay or weekend in the Ardennes. During certain periods, accommodation can be booked for a minimum of two nights.
All camping pitches (average size approx. 90 m²) have a 10 amp electricity connection. You will need a CEE/Euro plug for this. These are also available in our campsite shop. We recommend that you bring your own extension cable.
The rate includes standard electricity consumption:
- Camping pitches: 6 kWh per night included
- Accommodations: 10 kWh per night included
Any additional consumption will be charged at checkout at a rate of €0.65 per kWh. With normal usage, you will not usually exceed this amount.
You can easily make a reservation online by entering your desired period and choosing from our rental accommodations or camping pitches. During the booking process, you can also indicate a preferred pitch, if available. This will be finalised after our confirmation.
After entering your details, you will immediately see the total price of your stay. The reservation is completed online with a payment according to the specified payment terms. Once the payment has been completed, you will receive a reservation confirmation from us by email.
By making a reservation, you agree to the camping rules and the reservation conditions.

We try to take the wishes and preferences of campers into account as much as possible. A requested pitch number or preference is always subject to availability. For more information, please consult the terms and conditions.
When booking online, you complete the booking with a payment in accordance with the specified payment terms. After receipt of payment, you will immediately receive the booking confirmation by e-mail.

Our cancellation policy can be found in the booking conditions on the website. We recommend that you read these carefully when making your booking.
When making your booking, you can choose to add the cancellation fund. This costs 5.5% of the total amount plus a £5 administration fee. Read more about this in the terms and conditions.
Yes, that is possible. If you want to be sure of seats or accommodation together, we recommend that you request this by telephone or e-mail. This allows us to immediately check availability and your requirements.
Are you booking online with friends or family? Please indicate your preferences when making your reservation. We will do our best to accommodate your requests, depending on availability.
On the day of arrival, you are welcome to arrive at your camping pitch from 1 p.m. On the day of departure, we ask you to leave the pitch clean and tidy before 12 noon.
You are welcome to check in to your accommodation from 4 p.m. on the day of arrival. On the day of departure, we ask you to vacate the accommodation by 10 a.m.
On the day of arrival, you are welcome during reception opening hours. If you are arriving later, please contact us in advance so that we can arrange a solution together.

No, the use of our showers and swimming pool is included in your stay. You do not pay anything extra for this. This means you can enjoy unlimited showers or dips in the pool.
Yes, the water at the campsite is drinkable. You can safely drink water both in the sanitary buildings and at the water taps on the camping pitches.
There is at least one shared water tap per camping lane. Pitches 128-151 and 223-242 have their own water tap to which you can connect your caravan (a surcharge applies).
Please note: the water may taste different from what you are used to at home, as there is more lime in the water in this region.
Yes, during most school holidays (in the Netherlands and/or Belgium), we organise a Dutch-language recreation and outdoor sports programme for children, teenagers and adults.

Yes, Ardennes Camping Bertrix is a campsite in the Ardennes with charging stations. You can easily charge your electric or hybrid car during your stay.
We have four connections with a maximum capacity of 22 kW, allowing you to charge quickly and efficiently. Ideal if you travel sustainably and want to enjoy your holiday without any worries.
You can pay with your debit card at our reception and in the catering facilities.
However, it is still common to pay with cash in the area surrounding the campsite. We therefore recommend that you always carry some cash with you.
At our outdoor sports partner Cap Nature, located in the wooden chalet opposite the reception, payment is only possible in cash.
Please note: you cannot withdraw cash from the reception desk using a debit card. There is a cash machine in the village of Bertrix.
Yes, our outdoor swimming pool is heated and open during the season. This means you can swim comfortably even on slightly cooler days.
Yes, there is a small shop at the campsite where you can buy daily groceries and fresh bread rolls (in season).
Yes, the campsite has a restaurant, Les Amis de l’Ardenne, and a snack bar. During the season, you can enjoy lunch, dinner or a drink on the terrace.
Yes, barbecuing is permitted, provided it is done safely. Only high barbecues (on legs) may be used. Open fires on the ground are not permitted.
Electric barbecuing is not possible due to the capacity of the power network. You can therefore barbecue using charcoal or gas.
The barbecue must always be supervised by an adult. In addition, we ask that you always have a bucket of water or other fire extinguishing agent within reach when barbecuing. This way, we can keep it safe and enjoyable for everyone.
Yes, there are washing machines and dryers in the main building that you can use during your stay (for a fee).
Yes, at Ardennes Camping Bertrix you can hire (electric) mountain bikes to explore the Ardennes region. For bike hire, we work together with our neighbours at Le Cellier du Baudet, right next to the campsite.
Most of the mountain bikes available are electric (e-MTBs), ideal for the hilly and challenging terrain around Bertrix.
We recommend checking availability and prices in advance at the campsite reception or directly with Le Cellier du Baudet. During high season, it is advisable to book well in advance.
Yes, pets are welcome at Ardennes Camping Bertrix. A maximum of two pets are permitted per camping pitch or rental accommodation.

Absolutely. The Belgian Ardennes are an ideal destination for a holiday with your dog. The vast forests, walking trails and natural surroundings make it a paradise for dogs and their owners alike.
You can walk straight into nature from the campsite. Please note that dogs must always be kept on a leash.
Dogs are welcome on the terrace, provided they are kept on a leash and under supervision. Pets are not allowed in the indoor areas and buildings (such as the sanitary facilities).
We kindly request that you walk your dog outside the campsite. There are plenty of walking opportunities in the surrounding countryside.
A surcharge per stay applies for bringing a pet. The current rates can be found during the booking process.
